Canadiana/Nature Series Preview & Process
I've had this idea for a Canadiana/Nature series percolating in my brain for some time. After polling Nib & Tuck's friends on Facebook I discovered that there's some interest in me documenting the process work behind the designs.
Here's the final design. This will be laser cut like the Four Seasons series. He's not available for purchase yet but I'll let you know when he is.

After perusing a multitude of eagle photos, this one emerged as the front runner of inspiration. No, I did not go out and sketch eagles.

A series of really horrific sketches followed (apologies for the crummy photos):

And eventually I settled on a design I felt I could take into Illustrator and work up into a final piece.

Over 33,000 Nib & Tuck Holiday Cards Circle the Globe This Holiday Season

A huge thank you to all of the wonderful folks and companies who decided to send one of my die-cut or laser-cut holiday cards in 2011. Your continued support means that over 33,000 Nib & Tuck cards are being sent to households and businesses worldwide this year. That's a lot of warm sincere wishes that an e-card just can't match.
Ideas are already being brainstormed for next year's designs. Keep your eyes peeled for new additions to the "Stained Glass Series". And you may also see an advent card appear, complete with little doors to open and everything. No chocolate though. Sorry.
Wishing you a Christmas filled with joy, a Winter Solstice overflowing with optimism, a Hannukah spent with loved ones, a Festivus replete with feats of strength, and a New Year that is prosperous and bright. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •
